The Opportunity:

The Director of Donor Impact is responsible for the planning and execution of high-quality stewardship and impact touch points for university donors and prospective donors. In collaboration with partners across the division, the university and with external vendors, the Director uses creativity, resourcefulness and dynamic decision-making to develop meaningful touch points that will leave an impact on donors and further their relationship with UCF.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team in the strategy and execution of broad-based and personalized stewardship and impact touch points that share gratitude, express impact and inspire further philanthropic support for the university's top donors and prospective donors.

  • Collaborate with partners across Advancement & Partnerships to develop best practices in donor stewardship.

  • Responsible for creating and overseeing a multi-channel communication strategy for university donors at all giving levels.

  • Ensures timely reporting on endowments and philanthropic impact.

  • Proactively supports the stewardship responsibilities of the development staff by assisting them in establishing and coordinating personalized stewardship touches.

  • Develops strong cross-campus partnerships and supports systems and processes to ensure effective scholarship administration and overall utilization of philanthropic funds

  • Builds innovative recognition programs and projects to thank and steward donors.

  • Works in collaboration with ITS to develop reporting for recognition programs and impact touch points.

  • Works closely with Events and Experience team to create widespread and intimate opportunities to connect scholarship donors with their students.

  • Leads, coaches and provides day-to-day supervision of donor impact team.

  • Directs various personnel actions including hiring, performance review and other personnel concerns.

  • All positions assist in recruiting, training and retaining foundation employees.

  • Management reserves the right to adjust responsibilities in line with evolving business needs.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's or Master's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.Click here for more information

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in a fast-paced higher education environment.

    • Expertise in Donor Relations, Scholarships, and Donor Experience.

    • Previous donor relations or fundraising leadership experience.
