Job Summary
Operates equipment and performs tasks to complete windings and winding components in electrical motors. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Duties & Responsibilities Information:
- Follows work orders and coil specification files
- Performs setups with a minimum of direct supervision
- Applies constant pressure while winding to ensure properly formed coils
- Setups machines and winds are required coils, including high voltages and straps copper
- Exercises good housekeeping in work area
- Observes good safety practices in performance of job
Necessary Skills:
Requires ability to read and write, follow both written work orders and specific verbal instructions
