Want to make parts that FLY around the world? TURBOCAM's Aerospace division is looking for both entry-level and experienced Machine Operators to make blades and vanes for turbine engines that go into aircraft using some seriously cool equipment and technologies!

We offer starting pay of $21.00/hour and 3rd shift is eligible for shift differential!

  • 3rd Shift (11pm-7am) - 22% shift differential (bringing hourly pay to$25.62/hr.)

What You'll do:

  • Perform set-up, operation, and accomplish precise alignment of assigned lathe, mill, and balance machines to extremely close tolerances.
  • Accurately perform and document operations and inspections as stated in the Quality Manual.
  • Recognize deviations in proper machine performance; trouble-shoot and implement corrective actions.
  • Work from process sheets, engineering drawings or specifications, sketches and written or oral instructions to machine various products.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on assigned machines.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high volume team environment.
  • Support and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe.
  • Demonstrate reliability, dependability, and safety-oriented work.
  • Perform other duties as required based on assignment.

Who You Are:

  • You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • If you have experience in a manufacturing/production environment or running CNC machines, GREAT! But if not, you have a can-do attitude, seriousownership,and a thirst for learning.
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment and good math skills will go a long way. You must bethoroughand able to follow instructions carefully.
  • You embracecreativity, but are always looking to understand the how and why first.
  • You valueteamworkand have good interpersonal communication and organization skills. You keep itprofessional, but can also have a good laugh.
  • You have a high level ofintegrityand want to make a difference!

This position does require occasional lifting, carrying of 25-50 pounds or more and standing for extended periods of time. This role involved moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects.
