Job Description
Manager, Tax (Multiple Positions), Austin, TX. Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems related to Global Trade Services (GTS). Assess clients’ business needs and identify computer systems to address them. Troubleshoot system and program malfunctions. Lead Global Trade Technology solutions implementations through the entire project life cycle with minimal supervision. Develop, document, implement, and revise system configurations, test procedures, and quality standards. Ensure the quality of the project deliverables, including blueprint design documentation, system configuration, and functional specification. Train staff and users to work with SAP GTS and other systems. Oversee the design of technology solutions for complex issues and gaps identified. Work with other functional work streams to ensure process integration. Report project status and metrics to Engagement Partners and client stakeholders. Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of SAP. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks.
40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Working with SAP ECC, S/4 Hana, and SAP Global Trade Services (GTS); Supply chain, logistics, or global trade processes; SAP, Sales & Distribution, and Materials Management; All modules of the SAP GTS software; Designing and implementing interfaces to SAP GTS; and Leading SAP GTS client design workshops.
Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. up to 50% is required.
Travel to various international locations up to 10% is required.
