Position Summary:

The Logistics Business Analyst II will support all aspects of data analytics for the Logistics & Fulfillment (L&F) organization. Provide expertise in data analytics and data mining help create solutions across the Regal Rexnord network. In this role, you will support our strategy for business intelligence solutions and reporting tools with a focus on data mining and analysis. Working as part of the Data & Analytics team, you will create standardized approaches to data mining, reporting and visualization, providing leaders with the business insights needed to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. This data will influence decisions impacting operations to include evolving operational effectiveness through continuous improvement processes. Your engagement and insights will support all tactical and strategic needs ensuring expectations across Safety, Quality, Delivery ,Cost and Growth (SQDCG) are met. Major Responsibilities:

  • Conducts analysis for Logistics & Fulfillment to create accurate and timely decisions for Business results.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to a large audience.
  • Coach and collaborate with team members.
  • Utilize structured and unstructured data sets to create reporting that is descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and / or prescriptive to drive improvements across the business.
  • Maintain and analyze metrics to assess performance and identify improvements across the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Growth (SQDCG).
  • Develop and maintain standardization related to data visualization. Conduct training when needed to ensure end users can fully leverage reporting tools.
  • Provides effective and actionable scenario analysis, and communication of cost trade-offs to support business needs.
  • Analyze L&F data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, or cost and benefit analysis.
  • Understand organizational priorities to assist with the design and identification of KPI's that align with the Business.
  • Creates, identifies, and implements effective dashboards for tracking and KPI Metrics to improve SQDCG performance.
  • Ensures that daily, weekly monthly, quarterly, and yearly KPI's are prepared and published as appropriate.
  • Balance competing priorities while ensuring initiatives maintain momentum delivering against expected ROI.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business Analytics, Statistics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or operations is preferred.
  • 5+ Years of experience in a logistics operations or analytics related position is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic programming concepts and languages (SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, Java, C+, etc.)
  • General knowledge and skill with Logistics and Fulfillment operations
  • Knowledgeable in all modes of Transportation - TL, LTL, Ocean, Air, Small Package
  • Proficient with Microsoft office products
  • Proven ability to take on tasks and drive continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake and Microsoft Power BI with demonstrated ability to create intuitive status at a glance dashboards.
  • Experience using data and analytics to measure, track and action KPI's with a bias towards action and urgency.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a desire to take initiative and find new opportunities for improvement.
