Sr. Treasury Management Officer Role:


The Sr. Treasury Management Officer strategically and tactically oversees the team of Treasury Management Sales Associates and Support Specialists bank wide. Responsible for identifying and developing strategies for new depository client prospects while insuring superior customer service to enhance the existing client experience. The role works closely with key stakeholders to identity and partner on opportunities, and will lead the TM operational and TM product strategy.

Sr. Treasury Management Officer Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

E 40% Directs the Treasury Management department in identifying new deposit client prospects and manage existing client relationships. Ability to act as a senior salesperson with key clients as needed while monitoring team sales productivity. Monitor client escalations, manage and develop the TM Team, oversee TM annual review process and department reporting.

E 20% Develop and execute TM operational strategy including account setup, product implementation, client training, service level agreements, ongoing monitoring and business risk management.

E 20% Actively research and review the banks Treasury Management product strategy. Create measurements and evaluation process for existing suite of products while preparing recommendations of new TM products. Work with product development team on implementation of all new and enhanced products.

E 10% Serve as a Treasury Management subject matter expert and work closely as a senior partner with commercial, retail branches and staff, product development, technology, operations and compliance teams. Point of contact for all Treasury Management partners/vendors.

E 5% Provide internal and external training and education to establish and reinforce Treasury Management best practices.

N 5% Performs other job related duties as assigned.




Sr. Treasury Management Officer Performance Measurements:

1. To comply with the letter and with the spirit of the bank's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

2. To maintain the confidentiality of customer and any other sensitive information.

3. To complete required training and undertake additional training as needed to increase job knowledge and maximize productivity.

4. To maintain an excellent knowledge of financial services offered by the bank; to be knowledgeable of competitors' services.

5. To produce assigned new business development to the specified volume or dollar value.

6. To respond to telephone messages within four hours.

7. To maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance at all times.

8. To generate required reports within the specified time frame with zero errors.

9. To provide direction and recommendations to management regarding the business development strategies.

10. To develop and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with department/branch staff.

11. To acquire and maintain a working knowledge of regulations and bank procedures; to comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and other laws and regulations.




Sr. Treasury Management Officer Knowledge and Skills:




Experience

Candidates should have Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.


Education

(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).


Interpersonal Skills

Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.


Other Skills

To be successful in the role, the candidate must have an understanding of the Treasury Management industry and competitive landscape. Must have good communication skills; must be analytical and inquisitive; must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and bank software. Must be a self-starter and be able to motivate his/her peers and influence partners in other areas to achieve common goals.


Physical Requirements

The person in this position needs to frequently move about inside the office to interact with associates or clients and access office machinery and file cabinets. The person in the position constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, photocopier, and printer.


Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and may require travel to branches and other locations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as calculators, computers, phones, photocopier, filing cabinets and fax machines.
