Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our data-driven team. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting data-related activities within our organization.

The Jr. Data Processing Specialist is responsible for the management, maintenance, and upkeep of business data i.e. Customer, vendor, items, and pricing for use in across all company platforms. They will be responsible for synthesizing complex or diverse information and requests. Collecting and researching data. Identifies data relationships and dependencies. Follows and improves workflows and procedures.

Responsible for sourcing through updating of external data, with the goal to ensure accurate data is available for multiple use cases. Work with the TEVET teams to gather requirements, design, develop, test, document and maintain business intelligence solutions across the company.

Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Perform data cleaning and transformation as necessary to prepare it for analysis.

Duties Include:

Data Quality Assurance: Help maintain data quality standards by identifying and resolving data discrepancies or inconsistencies. Collaborate with other team members to establish data quality protocols.

Manage, manipulate, and maintain key date files provided from our suppliers to support the internal sales organization

Create, monitor, maintain and manage pricing and product data and content across all business systems while ensuring an accurate system of record.

Audit product data and content for accuracy and completeness on a bi-weekly basis

Ensure product lines and operations are in line with customer contracts

Monitor systems daily; manage various system exception logs and work to resolve problems quickly and efficiently

Monitor data entry into databases and ensure data input accuracy

Support TEVET Marketplace process of creating and parking quotes for sales and customers.

Actively engage in business stakeholder requirements gathering sessions to understand, interpret and translate requirements into an effective technical solution.

Respond to inquiries regarding data accuracy and reliability

Other duties may be assigned, as needed.


Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in technology related field or equivalent job related experience/ Technical Certifications.

Advanced Excel experience

Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with data.

Excellent (verbal and written) communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data

Must be comfortable with large data sets

Exceptional attention to detail a must, particularly in the areas of analysis, testing, quality assurance and systems documentation

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a diverse team environment.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, techniques, and technologies in the field of data management.

Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Ability to understand and learn data flow concepts between company systems and databases

Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.

Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects/tasks

Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.

Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Experience with Netsuite or ERP data management experience.
