Job Description Summary

The Continuous Improvement Specialist will join the Advisory Transformation Team and be responsible for leading the identification and execution of process improvement initiatives for Americas Operation's Center of Excellence Organization. This role will work closely with Center of Excellence Directors, Transformation, Operations, and IT stakeholders to analyze process performance, identify optimization opportunities, and implement improvement roadmaps. This role will be pivotal in establishing a continuous improvement culture in Center of Excellence teams through introducing new techniques and repeatable frameworks, coaching teams on how to leverage, and delivering meaningful, sustainable results.

The Continuous Improvement Specialist will join the Advisory Transformation Team and be responsible for leading the identification and execution of process improvement initiatives for Americas Operation's Center of Excellence Organization. This role will work closely with Center of Excellence Directors, Transformation, Operations, and IT stakeholders to analyze process performance, identify optimization opportunities, and implement improvement roadmaps. This role will be pivotal in establishing a continuous improvement culture in Center of Excellence teams through introducing new techniques and repeatable frameworks, coaching teams on how to leverage, and delivering meaningful, sustainable results.

The ideal candidate will be a data-driven, thought leader who demonstrates a bias to action and passion for results, capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A candidate with experience working with Shared Service Centers and off-shore teams is highly preferred.

This opportunity is a hybrid role and will be based out of our Chicago office 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing processes, through current state process reviews and performance data analyses, to gauge effectiveness and identify bottlenecks, duplication, and/or gaps
  • Conduct root causes analyses on process issues through fact finding and data analyses
  • Develop recommendations on how to streamline, simplify, and automate processes
  • Advise leadership of findings, recommended improvements, and the path-to-implement
  • Prioritize, manage, and execute recommended improvements in collaboration with cross-functional partners
  • Establish KPIs that allow teams to proactively measure performance and effectiveness of improvements
  • Monitor KPI performance continuously to ensure sustained results
  • Communicate progress and results to stakeholders
  • Introduce tools, techniques, and methodologies to Center of Excellence teams to support building a continuous improvement muscle

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, finance, industrial engineering) preferred
  • Experience working with Shared Service Centers and Off-Shore Operations preferred
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience leading continuous improvement initiatives with a track record of delivering results (workflow efficiency, productivity improvement, cost savings, quality enhancements)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill data into consumable insights and convey recommendations to leaders and business partners
  • Critical thinker with the ability to define problems, analyze data, see the art of the possible, and create realistic plans to achieve
  • Collaborative partner who involves stakeholders in problem resolution
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates a "move fast and fix things" attitude
