Bongards' Creameries is seeking an energetic, pleasant Office Assistant to be the face for visitors and callers to our local office and to assist team members on various company projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming telephone calls and guests as they arrive and direct them appropriately.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
    1. Maintain conference rooms and building in neat order.
    2. Handling secretarial work including preparing reports and presentations, entering information into databases, maintaining paper and electronic filing systems, etc.
    3. Maintain inventory of office supplies and order replenishment as necessary.
    4. Manage the company store purchases and billing.
    5. Provide support to management in creating visual aids and other tasks.

    7. Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual preferred but not required).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
    • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
    • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Two years of relevant work experience preferred.
    • High School diploma or educational equivalent required.

    Working Conditions:

    • Office environment and some plant atmosphere.
    • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
    • Required to be seated for extended periods of time at a computer workstation.
