Position: Certified Welder - Weekend Shift
Location: Chattanooga, TN

Position: Machine Operator
Position Overview: To ensure the availability of MIG/TIG welded components to the next in- process work cell.
Location: Chattanooga, TN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate MIG, Tig, Pulse, stick welders.
* Set up various welding fixtures as required.
* Change welding wire, tips, nozzles, gases, etc.
* Read and interpret prints.
* Maintain man cooler by emptying water and changing filters.
* Use pull tester to test welds as required.
* Identify product being welded with an operator tag that includes the item number before product is moved from welding booth.
* Interacted with vendor to help maintain an inventory of welding supplies.
* Complete all paperwork and perform mainframe functions as required.
* Ability to complete and maintain welding certificate(s).
* Ability to identify quality issues.
* Ability to operate robotic equipment.
* Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
* Perform other duties as required or requested.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities:
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as prints, specifications, safety policies and procedures.
* Work closely with the engineering department to help develop and process new engineered designed products.
* Work with quality department to perform proof testing on quotes and special engineered product as required.
Required Qualifications:
* High school graduate, GED, or equivalent experience.
* Previous welding skills and welding certification are desirable.
* AWS Certification preferred.
* Certification must be maintained and must participate in continuous education.
* Forklift experience required.
* Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. Safely.
