Title: Sponsored Nurse Technician- Float Pool
Location: Maury Regional Medical Center
Position Shift: PRN- Float Pool
Position Summary:
Performs clerical/secretarial duties, processes physicians' orders and files vital information in patients' medical records. Performs patient care activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients, and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Assigned responsibilities will vary based on the needs of the unit/patients throughout the assigned shift.
Credentials / Education:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.
* Current TCAT LPN Student OR current Columbia State RN Student ONLY.
* Student agrees to become an employee at Maury Regional Health as a Student Nurse Tech- Float Pool
* Student agrees to work 8 hours a week during semesters and 16 hours a week during school breaks
* Sign a 2 year work agreement that is effective upon graduation
* Must attend New Employee Orientation
What Maury is offering:
* $2,000.00 Stipend, total, spread out over the number of semesters involved
* Student will receive Tuition reimbursement, in Direct Deposit form, for tuition upon submission of grades at the end of each semester regardless of current Financial Aid eligibility, scholarships, or assistance through Columbia State
