Position Description:
Manage all financial transactions, from AP/AR, Inventory, fixed assets, Journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling balance sheets and calculating standards. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and accurate quantitative data as well as good analytical skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Prepare daily plant production data
  • Complete financial statements on time
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Manage monthly journal entries and accruals
  • Assist shared services with accounts payable & accounts receivable transactions and reconciliations
  • Maintain all fixed assets and depreciation in portal
  • Manage/reconcile all balance sheets
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Inventory reporting - Obso, LCM, Inventory by location, & True-up
  • Analyze all material/sales price updates for accuracy
  • Maintain all cost structures for all parts and update as needed
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality
  • Perform PPV analysis daily/weekly/monthly
  • Apply GAAP to finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
  • Work experience as an Accountant
  • Associates Degree preferred but not required
  • Experience with accrual accounting
  • Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
