Under the general supervision of the director of health services, plans, directs, and evaluates resident and employee health care in ambulatory health services.
Minimum Education
Master of Science in Nursing degree required.
Current approval by the joint Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing to perform medical acts. Must be currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state. Because of the nature of responsibilities, it is preferable to have experience in counseling and teaching and have a master's degree.
One year minimum of nurse practitioner experience preferred.
Required Licenses
Current Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the state.
