POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Business Analyst of ITS will be responsible for managing client relationships, oversee the initiation and delivery of client projects. This role will serve as the single point of contact for developing statements of work, fielding questions from clients and providing appropriate resolution and response. The Senior Business Analyst will work within the Lifepoint ITS group leaders to ensure that all project work and costs are compiled prior to delivery. This position will also be expected to perform various financial analysis, trending and forecasting, business case modeling and reporting activities that support both the short and long-term strategic plans in the capital & operating budgets of the department. The requirements of the role may vary due to business challenges, and therefore may be adjusted with specific initiatives in mind. The following skills are preferred to effectively carry out the role: Customer relationship management, Sales & marketing management, New business development, Presentations preparation and delivery at Senior Management level, Project management, Financial management, Leadership, team building, committed to helping clients and able to work well under pressure and demonstrate excellent communication both verbal and written, problem-solving, and customer service skills. This position will assist in identifying process and performance metric improvements, creating, managing transitional Service SOWs/financials, Management Service agreements, SOWs/financial and the creation of a quarterly ITS report card that reflects the value and accomplishments of the ITS department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Work with the various IT departments and leadership team in the development of statements of work and strategic plans, to meet the requests of client/customer
  • Support and align efforts to meet client/customer and business needs
  • Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results
  • Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, Customers, technical staff)
  • Serve as a liaison between client/customer (SCION and divested entities) and IT to assist, gather or answer any questions pertaining to general IT service or business requirements including but not limited to SOW, TSA or MSA work
  • Serve as the central point person in the creation and tracking of SCION related requests for service/SOWs.
  • Execute financial modeling and valuation of acquisitions, divestitures and partnerships.
  • Prepare and edit internal presentations to support critical decision making by senior management.
  • Liaison with various business units as determined by manager for specific projects.
  • Corresponds with clients and project leaders to identify and evaluate end-user and business requirements
  • Ensures clean and accurate documentation that include detailed business requirements, client requirements and technical specifications
  • Assist VP of Finance in managing client/customer IT&S financial development and annual budget and associated analyses, presentation and reporting regarding statements of work, transitional and managed services agreements
  • Create, validate & review financial models for acquisitions and other significant capital expenditures related to IT&S (I.E detailed business cases, payback period, value creation multipliers, comparative analysis and cash flow models)
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly expenditures and make recommendations to ITS leadership
  • Acts as a business partner by providing financial results, analysis and support to HITS departments
  • Ability to navigate across the organization and work collaboratively with various ITS departments to ensure client service requests are met
  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in financial analysis field; Healthcare related experience preferred.
