Description
Starr Regional Health and Rehab is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Physical Therapy Assistant for our Rehab Department. This job is permanent, full-time.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:
- Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeksconsultation as necessary.
- Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
- Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
- Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
- Assists with patient discharge planning. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.
Qualifications
Minimum EducationAssociate's of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapy: Preferred X Required
Required Licenses[Tennessee, United States] Physical Therapy Assistant
Current Physical Therapist Assistance Licensure in State of Tennessee
Current Physical Therapist Assistance Licensure in State of Tennessee
Required Skills/Certifications:The below certifications will be required at the time of hire:X Basic Life Support (BLS)
