Description

The Registered Nurse in the OB Department provides direct and indirect patient care. He/She applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. The Registered Nurse must possess good communication skills and must be able to effectively communicate with physicians, peers, patients and families. He/She works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to ensure quality care is delivered.
The Registered Nurse working in the OB department will care for various types of patients including but not limited to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, GYN surgery patients.

Qualifications

Must possess an active TN RN license or a compact state license with the intent to obtain a TN RN license within 30 days of hire.

Must have current BLS/CPR certification
Must obtain AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course at time of hire or obtain certification within 8 months of hire.
Must obtain S.T.A.B.L.E class within 12 months of hire
Must obtain ACLS within 12 months of hire

Primary Location Tennessee-Pulaski
Schedule Full-time
Work Schedule Night shift, 10+ hr/shift, rotate weekends
