The Event Operations Assistant position provides support in the setting up and breaking down of all events on campus. This includes day to day operations along with special events at various hours. Setup instructions and/or diagrams will be provided for each event and the EOAs will work together as a team to complete the setups during the allotted setup times. Setups include moving tables, chairs, staging and various rental (and other) items that are needed for a successful event. Hours for this position are based on the number of event setups needed per week. Each event will have pre-established setup times and these may vary from week to week. Students may also be asked to work in support of events while they are happening and be available to the internal or external group that is utilizing space on campus. These events will be on an as-needed basis and will be scheduled accordingly.
All students are limited to working less than 20 hours per week while classes are in session.
