Responsible for all activities involved in the management of product movement within the supply chain; ensures delivery of the right product to the right place at the right time for the right price. Key logistics activities include: physical distribution, which includes the movement and storage of finished goods, supplies and spare parts from manufacturing plants to warehouses to customers (typically includes warehousing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and localization); logistics network development/optimization, which includes network design, reverse logistics, modeling, duty elimination/reduction, order fulfillment cycle time management, cost analysis, system design; logistic services procurement, including contract management; supply chain management, postponement procurement, and order management. Designs and implements logistics strategies/ processes in the areas of transportation, trade compliance, customs, physical distribution and/ or supply chain management to support distribution of Agilent materials/products. Responsibilities may be at the site level, regional or global. May be responsible for logistics process design, support and ongoing improvement. May be responsible for program management, such as directing the work of third parties, including global vendor management, to meet contract specified deliverables, performance or business objectives, in the areas of process definition and implementation, alignment to Agilent business needs and performing audits

  • Maintains all training documents and procedures, updating and creating as needed with revision controls, collaborating with management and team members.
  • Maintains full operation training plan, training matrix, skill certifications, department rosters, various SharePoint sites, playbooks and site SuccessFactors training.
  • Serves as "Train the Trainer" by learning all existing and new processes.
  • Supports new hires with onboarding including conducting On-The-Job training, shadowing and follow-up check point audits to ensure compliance to quality initiatives.
  • Prepares and delivers information through a variety of instructional techniques and formats relevant for adult learners: e-learning, instructor-led, and blended solution
  • Assist and follow-up on company trainings, conducting classroom trainings if needed and requesting learning curriculums be updated with IT for classroom participants.
  • Collect and summarize training feedback, from new employee OJT and/or spot audit/shadowing, escalating as appropriate.
  • Manage access into SharePoints or folders related to onboarding, training and work instruction documentation.
  • Monitor training effectiveness within established guidelines and make recommendations as appropriate
  • Ability to work flexible hours to ensure all shifts and department personnel are fully trained to remain audit ready.
  • Assist stakeholders with internal/external audits, as needed.
  • Performs other duties as required

Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent.

Typically 2+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.

Requires general proficiency with tools, systems and procedures to accomplish job.
