Electrical Controls Technician - 4 Day Work Week + Up To $5,000 Signing Bonus!
At Altronex, we design, fabricate, install and service automation systems for the municipal water industry.
This is a field service position based out of our Madison, WI facility. A large amount of local travel ~90% is necessary to provide installation, startup, training and repair functions. You are not required to fly anywhere. This is Wisconsin based travel only and our technicians enjoy a 4-day work week! A company vehicle is provided.
Desired skills & job duties include:
- Experience with PLC & HMI platforms, upload download etc;
- Ability to read ladder logic drawings;
- Strong electrical knowledge & troubleshooting skills;
- Maintaining and modifying existing process control systems;
- Work collaboratively with design engineers and software engineers;
- Interact with clients, suppliers and contractors;
- Modification / troubleshooting of motor control centers, variable frequency drives, instrumentation etc.
- Good with hand tools and mechanically inclined;
- Must be highly motivated, detail oriented and be able to work independently and part of a team.
- Must be able to legally work in U.S.
Suitable work experience in a technically related field may be considered in lieu of formal education.
